Does Six Flags Discovery Kingdom allow wallet chains?
I have a chain connected to my wallet at all times to make sure it doesn’t fall out. I have 2 chains, 1 is 30 inches, and the other is about 1 foot long.
I am aware of the lockers for backpacks, hats, etc.
Are they allowed through the security area? And are they allowed on rides such as the medusa? 10 points for best answer. Thank you.
Hello:
I’ve seen youths at theme parks (like Disneyland and Disney World) using similar chains, but closer to the foot-long length you describe for one of your chains. The 30-inch one might be more problematic, as the longer lenght makes it more likely to catch on things (and could be deemed a “safety hazzard”).
As for the chains themselves–as long as they’re small and not “heavy gauge industrial chains” (which can be used as flailing weapons); in other words–if you could wear any of the chains around your neck like a necklace–it could pass muster.
Your best bet is to try and contact Six Flags Discovery Kingdom’s guest/customer relations. Here’s the link:

Just to save yourelf some headaches, you could try any or all of the following:
1) Shorten the 30-inch chain to 1-foot like the other
2) If you’re going to DK with any female friends, stash your wallet(s)/chain(s) in their purses or backpacks until you get through the gate. Theme park security usually give purses a cursory check, and if the chain is neatly wrapped around your wallets, they may not even notice.
Hope this helps, and good luck.
