Could this damage my laptop?
I’m using an adapter that has an output of 19v, 4.74A on a laptop that has dc rating 19v, 3.42A. Could this seriously damage my laptop? the original adapter got busted. Oh and it’s an acer laptop and the current adapter is acer as well
it should be fine. the laptop will only draw what it needs. the adapter can supply up to 4.74 amp if the laptop does not need that much then it will not draw that much.
