84 olds cutlas 4 cyl run good at idle and rev but stalls after 2 minutes of drive.restarts hard.runs ……?
car reapedly runs a cycle of runs and stalls over a period of minutes! what do i check? im mechanically inclined but out of the vehicle loop for years.
84 olds cutlas ciera 4 cylinder feul inj. runs good at idle and rev ,but stalls within minutes of load.restarts hard after couple minutes.then repeats cycle.checked converter,is ok.dont know about fuel filter,pump,regulater,. what do you think?

Well, Im more familiar with v8′s. But I would think that either your carbs is filfthy and full of gunk, Old gas, or the fuel pressure is low. Best way to clean your carb is to get carb cleanrer. Sold and most auto parts shop including Canadian Tire. Old gas. All you would need to do is syphon as much out as possible and refill with new (Obviously). If gas has been sitting for more than 1 month without running for long I would refuel it.
