Sliding Bolt
sliding bolt action into remington sportsmaster 512?
ive done it a long time ago but i recently took it out when i was cleaning it but cant get the bolt action back in. i can get it partially in but then there is like a little pin on the side of it right by the bolt/handle that you cock that gets in the way by hitting the barrel or right behind the safety
btw its not broken or anything its just that i dont know how to use it
Hold & grip the front end of the bolt with your left hand, grip the bolt handle with your right hand , pull the bolt handle up while holding the front of the bolt with your left hand so it isn’t able to turn or twist on you.* Do this with the bolt out of the rifle, do not try doing this with the bolt in the rifle.* This will put the bolt in the c-oc-k-ed position so that it is lined up properly to slide it in. The problem you have is that it is in the unc-oc-k-e-d position.*
